Sunday I didn't wake up until about 10am, slowly i've been sleeping in longer and longer. I got up, had a shower, possibly washed my hair... I washed it sometime... I just don't remember when.
Sunday was the last day for returning ressies to arrive before classes on monday so there were heaps of new people around and I chatted to a few of them. I got hungry at about lunch time (fancy that) so I made myself a roll with lettuce and cheese and tomato on it. It was yummy, I used my new chopping board. But when I had finished eating I realised that I didn't actually have any dishwashing detergent to wash my plates or anything. So after some coercing on msn by Rachel, Irene and Maya, I walked to the shops to buy some. I also bought spounges. And I bought a clothes drying rack and pegs. So I carried all that back to my room which was wonderful. It must have been almost 4 when I walked back because there was a sign at the lighthouse saying that there was a free bbq from 4pm. At about 4:30 Damian called and told me that Adam was wondering where I was so I traipsed down to Damian's room and the three of us hung out for a while (For a while I mean until 8ish). It was at this point that I was told that Damian is spelt Damian and not Daimen. My bad. Damian called Caitlin and told her that we were hanging out so she said she'd have some dinner before coming down. At that point Adam and Myself both left Damian's to eat our own dinner. I had soup and sat in the common room watching Australia's brainiest quiz show host... or something.
I was just washing up my dishes when Caitlin sent me a message and told me that she was on her way down so I made my way up to let her in, only realised when I had proceeded to walk through the closed door that the other door was wide open and I didn't actually need to let her in. Oh well.
So I took her down to Damian's room but he wasn't there so we assumed he was mingling in the courtyard with the 40ish people who were out there drinking together. We found him and I left both of them to run upstairs to finish drying my stuff and put it away before it was nicked. Then I went back down and Caitlin and I decided to go get Adam. We knocked on his door and brought him outside. Then we decided to also go get Shannon. Turns out she was in her room chatting on msn and drinking Midori. tut tut tut. So we brought her down, I ran to my room and changed my shoes and got my bag so we could leave for the lighthouse whenever. By the time we got outside a fair few people had migrated to the lighthouse already so we decided to go there. Damian jumped out and scared us at some point so we took him with us.
I bought a Raspberry Cruiser at the bar and Caitlin got a Raspberry Bacardi, Shannon got Midori, Damian got coke coz he didn't want the alcohol to aggrivate his stomach and adam didn't get anything because he doesn't drink. It cost me $5.50 for my drink.
We meandered round to the emptyish back room and played pool on an empty table. We got through half a game before some guys challenged us. The others went outside and Damian and I played against them, we were losing the whole game so I ended our misery by sinking the black ball when we still had three on the table. It was either that or just let them sink it by themselves. Meh. We played against two guys... both second years at UC, one of them living in Arscott but I hadn't seen him before.
After my gracious sinking of the black ball they both shook our hands and said good game and all that jazz. One of them shook my hand and said "Nice shot Katharine" argh, I hate it when people use my name in a sentence. i'm not sure if he was flirting with me but he seems a bit shifty coz when he found out I lived in Arscott the questions were like "ooh really? where abouts?" and I said Q-middle, and he said "oh yeah, what number?".. but shifty if they go straight to asking what your room number is... =S
So anyway after two games with them they left and we were challenged by another two guys, we really didn't particularly want to play again but you can't back down from a challenge. So we played again. By the end of this game there were about 7 of them standing around against Damian and I. It was fairly close but I sunk our last colour and the black ball in the same turn. Woo! AND, I might add, with some guy standing next to me going "no pressure".
Damian and I walked over to where Shannon was playing some video game with Adam and Caitlin watching. It was at this point that Damian discovered that I'd never been tipsy before so he decided that I needed another drink. I happily went and bought myself a Smirnoff black and got him a water while I was there. It took me half an hour but I finally got it. We sat at a table for a while, chatting, John sat with us for a while and other John sat with us for a while too, another guy sat with us for a while and he introduced himself but I don't remember his name.
There was a bar fight. I didn't know anybody who was involved but one of the guys we saw after had blood and a total tarzan style shirt going for him. I thought it was scary. The guys who worked at the place dropped their glasses and rushed straight in to break up the fight. Scary stuff.
So Adam wanted to leave at about 11:30 even tho we were trying to make it our "stay out past midnight not counting Damian's room" night. I drank the end of my Smirnoff as quickly as possible and then we left.
Interestingly though...
The five of us walked back together and as we crossed the bridge Damian spoke to the guy walking next to him (not one of us 5), he said "what's that you've got there?" because the guy was eating something "chips and gravy" the guy replied. And I turned around. It was Casey. Lol. He looked at me, pointed at me and said "wilson". Both the girls started laughing like crazy and I started talking (coz I was tipsy for the first time ever!). I said "omg I can't believe you remembered me" and he's like "yeah from the bus ride" and I said "I've walked past you like three times since then and you haven't said anything". He said that he walked past me on sat and he didn't want to say anything in case I told him to fuck off or something. And I said "no I'm not that mean".
So the six of us walked back, somehow Casey and I ended up at the front walking together and he asked me what I was studying this year and I told him and he said that he had done a Diploma in Business last year and I mentioned something about him getting through it and it not being deadly boring and I mentioned possibly dropping dead in the middle of it and he said that that would be a bad thing. Then he told me that on the bus when he was drunk he was going to ask me out and I was mightily shocked. And then we parted ways coz he went into the courtyard and we went into the stairwell between Q and R and we sat there for a while. Damian went off to see if his other friends were still awake in R block. So the four of us left traded email addresses so we could talk on msn at later dates and stuff. So Caitlin and Shannon were going *oooh lovers* which was slightly annoying. Casey came back in the stairwell to go upstairs and asked what we were doing now and we told him that we were going to bed. Ooh and red head John came in too.
Caitlin still had to get all the way up to UV so we decided to walk her at least to the street but in the end we walked her right up to her building. We walked back down and into Arscott and were walking past a group of people sitting in the courtyard (Casey was there) and this girl yells out "are you guys going to the lighthouse?" and we're like "no" and then she says "are you guys going to checkers" and we're like "no, we're going to bed" and then Shannon and Adam escorted me back up to my room coz I was slightly dizzy and I went to bed.
I was sooooooo tired but I was in bed by 12:15am. The people in the courtyard kept me up though because they were talking loudly.

my name is wilson
I'm one of those people who prefers to be out the back of the shoe store packing away boxes and ordering shoes rather than serving customers. I'm allergic to nothing and yet
I avoid things that i'm not used to. I fell in love once and to be loved is the most wonderful feeling in the entire world. I hold on to stereotypes of myself from years
ago not realising how much i've changed. I've taken two steps toward being independent but am nowhere near the stage most people are at my age. I crave attention but at
the same time hate getting it. I like my privacy and my space and miss having a big backyard to wander in. I want to do everything but make no effort to do anything
and then complain about it. I love to laugh and to make other people laugh at me. I can't stand being serious or when somebody else is crying and I can't do anything
to make them feel better. I want to be held when I cry. I want to be spoilt and to lie in bed forever with someone who i've given my heart to.
