Wow. Okay so I had the most fantastic night at Uni Bar last night. It was very fun. I had an awesome time. It was my first night in ages as a completely free woman. Actually let me get something straight about Bryce first.
He was never my boyfriend. Tuesday night I had a conversation with him about me wanting it to be exclusive or not wanting it to be anything at all. He couldn't answer me at the time. So on Wednesday night I went to his room at 12:10am to speak to him about it again. I told him that I didn't want him to have to think about whether he wanted to go out with me or not. So we're not together anymore. And i'm completely okay with that, even though Adam won't believe me.
So Thursday was my "woooooooo i'm completely single" night. Caitlin and I cooked burritoes for the boys, they were very nice, it's not often that I have actual meat at Uni so it was a good change. Then after dinner Damian had to go get some work done. I had a quick shower while Caitlin was watching Gilmore Girls in my room. When I got back we started drinking. We made it through two smirnoff's each before we got to the bar which we think is a good standard. So it was about 11 when Adam knocked on our door and asked us when we were going up to the bar. So we went up and knocked on John's door and he and Angus and Ricky walked up with us.
The bar was more crowded than the last time we went. Thank god it wasn't dead. We saw bob as soon as we got there, he was chatting to a girl (ooooh go bob). And we saw Elijah and we saw Nick who gave Caitlin and I a massive double hug coz he was totally drunk.
Oooh guess what! I danced! Yup, I know, i never dance, but I danced at uni bar. I think i'd had just enough to drink at that point. Two smirnoff's and two vodka n orange's. Mmmmm. I don't remember how the dancing started, possibly it was the group of us. Like Caitlin, Adam n stuff. But I don't know.
Ricky pulled me aside at some point and asked me about Bryce, like if I was going out with him or anything, so I told him that stuff. Then he took me dancing. Lol. And WOW is he a great dancer. Like he was spinning me around and everything. I was laughing the entire time. It was so fun. It was actually really nice, I can honestly say that i've never actually been that close to a guy in public before, this is including Bryce. And for the record i'm not interested in Ricky. He's awesome but I'm just not interested..
He was telling me about him and Steph. Steph's a girl who lives on my floor, i've seen them hanging out a bit and I kinda thought there was something possibly going on between them. He told me that he likes her and he thinks she likes him but nothing's happened yet. After we finished dancing the first time I walked back over to the group and he came with me and he was holding my hand. I kinda wanted him to let go coz i'm really not interested but it was kinda nice.
I was actually really glad Casey wasn't at the uni bar last night.
Hahahaha. I should tell you about 'Dan the Man'. Lol. Okay so this is after i've danced with Ricky a couple of times, and with Bob n Caitlin n Adam n stuff. Anyway i'm standing with Caitlin and Adam and Daniel and Aaron (from ages ago at the bar) and we're talking and there's this guy looking at me so of course I look at him n all that stuff. Hahaha this is hilarious. So anyway he's beckoning me outside but i'm not going coz for all I know he's a serialkiller. So anyway I stay with my group but I look at him now and then. So after a bit he comes over and takes my hand and asks me if I want to dance. So I go. We're dancing right, and he's like
him: "what's your name?" and then I reply "wilson" and then he says "i'm dan" and i repeat it to make sure "dan?" and then he says "yup, dan the man"
And i'm like OMG this is soooo funny. He asks me if I play pool and he says something about having a good night tonight and when he starts touching my arse and tries to pull my shirt up slightly I tell him that I have to go find Caitlin coz I promised not to leave her alone. I think he kisses my cheek and then I run away laughing. Lol. It was sooooo funny.
He was such a sleeze, lol. And he didn't even offer to buy me a drink. But I was glad that he didn't come find me again.
Ooh and I had a conversation with Hugo at the bar. He lives on my side of my floor but i've never really spoken to him before. He's actually really nice.
Oh yeah lol. And Ricky slapped me on the arse and offered to "kiss my pain away" Lol.
Adam was really good. He doesn't drink so he doesn't really like uni bar that much, he hates the music. I think the only reason he actually stayed was so that Caitlin and I didn't have to walk back by ourselves. It was really nice of him but it made me feel really guilty coz I know he just wanted to leave the entire time and I wanted to stay and have a good time. I think he would have left if Damian was there but Damian didn't come coz he was finishing an assignment due monday.
It's kinda scary coz i've actually been really happy since i've 'broken up' with Casey. I feel good being by myself and everything. I've been in such a good mood since, and uni bar last night was a wonderful confidence booster.
Oh there was some really tall older guy who was slightly creepy. He was totally in love with my earings.
Caitlin did get herself bought a drink though. But it was by her friend Daniel. The guy who Damian reckons is slightly creepy and that we should stay away from. He offered to buy us both one but I felt kinda bad coz they're $4.50 each and I really don't know him that well. So I politely declined and just had some of Caitlin's.
I danced with Ricky twice, coz he said he had to go soon (coz he had class this morning), so I went dancing with him again. I haven't seen him since. I don't know how drunk he was. Well... yeah he was fairly gone, he maintained that he wasn't drunk and he had water and a sausage (coz they had food), but he was pretty friendly.
Yes I know, i've changed... apparently.
We stayed at the bar until a bit after 3 and then Daniel, Caitlin, Adam and I walked back. Daniel went to his place and then we dropped Caitlin back at Rein's block coz she was cooking pancakes. Lol. So then Adam and I walked back, I managed not to fall down the hill in my stylish yet affordable boots, and said goodnight to Adam in the stairwell.
Next week Caitlin's friend Annette is coming to visit and apparently she's a party animal so we're bringing her to uni bar on thursday and the heaven and hell punch part on friday night, hopefully that'll be enough for her and she won't want to go to civic on saturday. I totally do not have enough money for this lifestyle.
Actually I only spent $6.50 on drinks at the bar. It's $2 drinks from 10-midnight so we got our first drink at like 11:20 and our second at like 12:02 so we just missed out and it was $4.50 again. Argh.
And yeah, i've still never had a hangover or thrown up from drinking.

I'm one of those people who prefers to be out the back of the shoe store packing away boxes and ordering shoes rather than serving customers. I'm allergic to nothing and yet
I avoid things that i'm not used to. I fell in love once and to be loved is the most wonderful feeling in the entire world. I hold on to stereotypes of myself from years
ago not realising how much i've changed. I've taken two steps toward being independent but am nowhere near the stage most people are at my age. I crave attention but at
the same time hate getting it. I like my privacy and my space and miss having a big backyard to wander in. I want to do everything but make no effort to do anything
and then complain about it. I love to laugh and to make other people laugh at me. I can't stand being serious or when somebody else is crying and I can't do anything
to make them feel better. I want to be held when I cry. I want to be spoilt and to lie in bed forever with someone who i've given my heart to.
